The Lutron Radio RA2 Connect Bridge creates a link between a RadioRA 2 or HomeWorks QS system and the Lutron cloud, enabling remote access to your system. Connect-BDG2-1 replaces the Connect-BDG-1.

Radio RA2 Applications

The Lutron Radio RA2 Connect Bridge is required when using the Lutron Connect app. The Lutron Connect App is compatible with iOS devices version 9.0 or later and Android devices 4.1 (Jellybean) or later.

To control this HomeKit-enabled accessory, iOS 9.0 or later is recommended. Communication between iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch and HomeKit-enabled Connect Bridge is secured by HomeKit technology. Controlling this HomeKit-enabled accessory automatically and away from home requires an Apple TV with tvOS 10.0 or later or an iPad with iOS 10.0 or later set up as a home hub.

A working internet connection, Lutron Connect Bridge, Lutron Connect App 2.0 or newer and Sonos app are required.

This is the RadioRA 2 RF plugin appliance module. RadioRA 2 RF Plug-in Modules are simple to install and easy to use. RF Plug-in Modules allow floor and table lamps (RR-3PD-1) as well as general purpose switching loads (RR-15APS-1) to be added to a system quickly and easily using Clear Connect RF Technology. They can be hidden behind furniture or appliances. The RadioRA 2 Dimming Module (RR-3PD-1) functions much like standard lamp dimmers, but also incorporates advanced features such as fade on/fade off, delayed long fade off, and rapid full on. • The appliance module may be used with, but is not limited to, the following: Task lighting or Humidifiers Note: Refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for acceptable switching methods.
• The appliance module may NOT be suitable for use with devices that require any of the following: Shut-down process before power is interrupted, such as computers. Cool-down process before power is interrupted, such as projectors. Programming, such as clocks or DVRs. Long warm-up cycle.
• If an over-temperature condition is detected, the LED on the unit will flash a unique sequence (double-blink, then pause) and turn the load off. Proper installation and conformance to all specifications should be ensured before proceeding. To return the device to normal operation, cycle power to the device.
