CI-355 – PASSIVE INFRARED LINE VOLTAGE CEILING SENSOR

PASSIVE INFRARED LINE VOLTAGE CEILING SENSOR, LIGHTING CONTROLS

This is the passive infrared line voltage ceiling sensor. Wattstopper’s CI-355 passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor automatically turns lighting on and off based on occupancy. The sensor mounts on the ceiling with a flat, low-profile appearance and provides 360 degrees of coverage.

The CI-355 is line voltage and operates on a single phase at 120, 230, 277 or 347 VAC. The sensor uses passive infrared technology (PIR) to sense occupancy and automatically turn lighting on. PIR works by sensing the difference between infrared energy from a human body in motion and the background space. When no occupancy is detected for the length of the time delay, lighting automatically turns off. Check out Wattstopper DLM products here.

WattStopper CI-305 – LOW VOLTAGE PIR CEILING SENSOR

LOW VOLTAGE PIR CEILING SENSOR, LIGHTING CONTROLS

This is the low voltage PIR ceiling sensor. Wattstopper’s CI-300 Passive Infrared (PIR) Ceiling Sensors automatically turn lighting on and off based on occupancy. The sensor mounts on the ceiling with a flat, low-profile appearance and provides 360 degrees of coverage.

CI-300 Series Sensors operate on 24 VDC, VAC or halfwave rectified. Utilizing the latest PIR technology, they automatically turn lighting on when a difference is detected between infrared energy from a human body in motion and the background space. When no occupancy is detected for the length of the time delay, lighting automatically turns off. For manual-on operation, the CI-300 will operate with a low-voltage momentary switch. Wattstopper UT-305-X ULTRASONIC CEILING SENSOR

ULTRASONIC LOW VOLTAGE CEILING SENSOR, LIGHTING CONTROLS

Wattstopper UT-305-X ULTRASONIC CEILING SENSOR. This is the ultrasonic low voltage ceiling sensor. Wattstopper’s UT-300 Ultrasonic Ceiling Sensors automatically turn lighting on and off based on occupancy. The sensors mount on the ceiling with a flat, unobtrusive appearance and provides 360° coverage.

UT-300 Series Sensors operate on 24 VDC, VAC or halfwave rectified. They use 40 KHz high frequency ultrasound to sense occupancy and automatically turn lighting on. When no occupancy is detected for the length of the time delay, lighting automatically turns off. For manual-on operation, the units work with a low-voltage momentary switch.

WattStopper WattStopper DT-305 Ceiling Sensor

LOW VOLTAGE DUAL TECHNOLOGY CEILING SENSOR, LIGHTING CONTROLS

The WattStopper DT-305 Ceiling Sensor combines the benefits of passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic technologies to detect occupancy and reduce false triggers. Sensors have a flat, unobtrusive appearance and provide 360 degrees of coverage. They easily mount to ceiling tiles or junction boxes. Ideal applications include classrooms, open office spaces, large offices, and computer rooms.

These WattStopper sensors use power packs for auto-on/off or low voltage switches for manual-on (both sold separately). In addition, the DT-300 family of sensors easily field modify to trigger lights on when either technology or both detect occupancy, or to require both technologies to hold lighting on. Once lights are on, detection by either technology holds them on. Lights turn off when occupancy is not detected for the length of the specified time delay.

  • Sensors work with low-voltage momentary switches to provide manual control
  • Patented ultrasonic diffusion technology spreads coverage to a wider area
  • LEDs indicate occupancy detection
  • Uses plug terminal wiring system for quick and easy
  • Eight occupancy logic options provide the ability to customize
  • Available with isolated relay for integration with BAS or HVAC
  • BAA/TAA-compliant models available

PIR vs. Ultrasonic

PIR technology senses motion via a change in infrared energy within the controlled area. Ultrasonic uses 40KHz high frequency ultrasound.
